Donations for the Pi Day Run go towards scholarships at CSU Fresno for students pursuing STEM majors.
About Activitynut:
Activitynut Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 whose mission is developing an active and healthy community by connecting people with events, coaching, training, and local stores. We do this through various forms of outreach through an event calendar (www.activitynut.me), outreach to local businesses and promotional assistance to local events through Facebook and email. It is our desire to increase participation at all local runs, rides, and multisport events in the area.
The goal of our events is to get people outside, moving and having fun. At the Fresno Pi Run in addition to the run/walk there will be music, pizza and dessert pies, local STEM clubs, costume contest, best STEM booth contest, a finisher’s medal and a PI Run t-shirt.
All sponsorships, donations and a portion of proceeds will go towards a scholarship fund at California State University, Fresno for students pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math majors.
